ABTMM was established in the year 1966 under the noble guidance of Acharya Sri Tulsi for the holistic development of women. It's central office is at Ladnun. Later, on 16 th June 1982, this organisation was registered as an NGO (Non Government Organisation) and has been operational as one under their present nomenclature - ABTMM.
ABTMM has its registered central office with in the Jain Vishva Bharati campus in Ladnun(Rajasthan). Acharya Tulsi encouraged the development of this office and also nomenclated it as ROHINI. The foundation stone of ROHINI was laid in the year 1987 by Mr. Basant Saathe the then Information & Broadcasting Minister.
Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Mahila Mandal is a charitable religious organisation which believes in the principles of Terapanth and follows the directives given by his holiness Acharya Mahashramanji and Sadhwi Pramukha Kanak prabhaji to bring a wave of positive change in society.
Our mission is to restore the glory of life to the underprivileged section of society and give joy to all socially challenged people.Today ABTMM prides 412 branches across the globe with over 65,000 members. ABTMM primarily concentrates its efforts into 4 Development Programs at the national level :
1. KANYA SURAKSHA YOJANA (Save Girl Child) With the increase in number of female foeticide and infanticide it has become mandatory for us to voice our concern or let the mankind suffer at the hands of extinction!
2. AAO CHALE GAAON KI ORE (Rural Development Program)
3. Swasth Pariwar - Swasth Samaj (Healthy Family - Healthy Society Program)
4. ACHARYA TULSI SHIKSHA PARIYOJANA (Education) - Free schools and scholarship programs are run within this scheme.
