Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Mahila Mandal has been nominated as the Brand Ambassador of Hon. Prime Ministers Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by Hon. Mridula Sinha, Governor of Goa in the year 2017. The organization has been actively participating in the mission with its 425 branches across India.

295 lavatories were constructed in public places across India and various sessions on cleanliness were conducted amongst children in 231 schools in order to inculcate the essence of cleanliness from the stage of adolescence.
Sanitary health awareness was provided to girls and sanitary napkin crushers were incorporated at their schools.
Kitchen waste convertor machine were installed for villages in order to convert kitchen waste into manure.
3250 Dustbins were installed in more than 70 cities.
Sadvhi Pramukha Kanakprabha Ji composed a song on Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan called ‘Swachh Ho Pyaara Hindustan’ which is now available as a caller tune. This song has been installed at several dust bin trolleys.
Eco Friendly Diwali campaign was launched a month prior to Diwali 2017 where we put forward the pros and cons of bursting crackers at Schools, Malls and other such public places. The campaign gained 90,000+ supports and pledges. Various poster and drawing competitions were held both online and offline for schools and for the girls of Kanya Mandal.
ABTMM launched a 6 month project - ‘Nirmaan – A small step towards cleanliness’ requiring every branch to reach out to local schools and interact with them on topics like Road, Railways, School, House, Body and Mental cleanliness once in every 15 days. Our branches have been working with government, municipal and private schools teaching them the little things that would make a huge difference. Project ‘Nirmaan’ is now actively functioning in 300+ schools nationwide.
